App-based AI fall detection: if you have an accident and can't call for help, ReMoto sends your GPS location to Caser's emergency team and they dispatch an ambulance. No installation required (it runs from your phone), no extra cost, and crucially, no privacy compromise (location data is only transmitted at the moment of a detected accident, never at any other time, and there's no riding-style tracking or premium adjustment).
How ReMoto works
ReMoto is built into the Caser ReMoto app and runs on standard smartphone sensors. Here's the full sequence from app install to ambulance dispatch:
- Install the Caser ReMoto app on your phone.
- App auto-detects when you start a journey using motion and location sensors.
- Throughout the ride: zero data is transmitted to Caser, privacy preserved.
- If the AI detects a fall pattern (accelerometer plus sudden stop): the system attempts to contact you.
- If you don't respond: GPS location is transmitted to Caser's emergency team.
- Caser dispatches an ambulance to your location, without you needing to call.
- After the ride ends: location data stops transmitting.
Privacy by design
Location data is only transmitted at the moment of detected accident, never at any other time. The app activates automatically when a journey is detected and stops when the ride ends. There is no journey tracking, no riding-style scoring, and no insurance-premium adjustments based on data collected by ReMoto.

Do I need to install anything on my bike?

Does it track me when I'm not riding?

What if my phone battery dies?
ReMoto requires a working phone with battery and mobile coverage. We recommend riding with your phone charged and within reach.
Does it work outside Spain?
ReMoto's emergency dispatch is centred on the Spanish emergency network. Outside Spain, the policy's standard assistance abroad still applies (medical care abroad up to standard limits) but the automatic dispatch may not function the same.
Will Caser raise my premium based on how I ride?
No - ReMoto does not collect riding-style data. There's no scoring, no usage-based pricing. It only triggers in case of a detected accident.
