Salud +60, in one paragraph
Salud +60 is Caser's senior plan, designed for retirees in Spain who have been declined or priced-out of mainstream health insurance because of age. There is no maximum age to enrol (60, 70, 80+ all welcome) and no medical questionnaire is required. From €43/mo. You get full outpatient cover (40+ specialities, diagnostic tests, telemedicine), an annual check-up tuned for early detection, 30 hours/yr of home care, post-hospital physiotherapy at home, dedicated Medical Advisor, plus second medical opinions for serious illnesses.
What it doesn't cover
Salud +60 is outpatient + diagnostic only. It does not include hospitalisation. Most of our 60+ clients pair it with the Spanish public health system (or EHIC / S1 form for residents from EU countries) which covers hospital admissions for free. If you specifically want private hospital cover after 60, ask us. We can sometimes get Integral or Adapta+Dental approved subject to the standard questionnaire.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a maximum age to take out Salud +60?
No - explicitly no upper age limit. We have policyholders enrolling at 65, 70, 80 and beyond.
Do I need a medical check-up to enrol?
No medical questionnaire is required. The only condition is being over 60. Cover is available regardless of your current health status.
When does cover start?
From day one for almost everything - only mammography, densitometry, CT and MRI have a 5-month waiting period. The annual check-up, GP, specialists, telemedicine and home care are all immediate.
Does it include hospitalisation?
No - Salud +60 is an outpatient + diagnostics plan. For hospital cover after age 60 we'd quote you Integral or Adapta+Dental separately (subject to standard health questionnaire). Many of our 60+ clients combine Salud +60 with EHIC / public-system cover for hospital.
Can I use the test results in the public health system?
Yes - for example, if a CT or blood test through this insurance shows something requiring intervention, you can take the results to your public-system doctor.
How does the home care work?
30 hours per year of professional home assistance is included. After a hospitalisation of 3+ days (or certified immobilisation of 5+ days) you can also access 7 hours of physiotherapy at home. Booked via the dedicated +60 helpline.
What's the Medical Advisor?
A dedicated phone-based health guidance service. Useful for navigating which specialist to see, understanding test results, or asking general health questions in your language.
How much does it cost?
From €43/mo per insured. Final price depends on age and region - premiums rise with age, but enrolment is open at any age and never closes.
Can I keep the policy as I get older?
Yes - there is no maximum term limit. The policy renews annually for as long as you want it.
How do I cancel?
At any time, with at least one month's notice before the renewal date.
